For Lucy started in 2006. Previously I was first a nurse then an electronics engineer(!!!) I started making personal care when, as a wildlife carer, I received into care a tiny furless wallaby joey.  She was so cold, when I put her against my skin it felt burning. It took hours to warm her. I wasnt sure she would survive, as tiny babies who come in dehydrated and cold tend to join their mums more as not. However, survive she did, and I called her Lucy.
As a "pinkie" she needed a good moisturiser to protect her tender sensitive skin. I was reluctant to use commercial ones because of the suspect ingredients. I did a lot of research, and made my own. The first cream I ever made was Winter Soother. Of course I have refined it a bit over the years to make it last longer, smell better etc, but essentially it is the same as I first made. Based on olive oil infusions of organic chamomile and organic calendula, with lavender essential oil, and now bentonite clay, it is at once soothing and anti inflamatory. The olive oil is a local product, from Lowood - Coolana Olives.


Her skin was beautiful throughout, and she grew a wonderful coat. 'she grew to be a big healthy girl, and I did more and more research to start making my own products.
